Stem Cells

Also known as stem cells, they are cells with the ability to transform into other cells, a key process for the renewal of cartilage, bone, tendons, muscles, skin, and hair tissue, as well as the repair of organs affected by chronic diseases or severe injuries.
At Vitalys, we apply stem cells as an anti-senescence therapy to slow cell death, the main cause of aging. Our stem cells come from internationally certified biobanks with strict quality specifications.

Autologous mesenchymal stem cells

These are stem cells obtained from the patient themselves, extracted from bone marrow, adipose tissue, skin, or dental pulp, among others. These are collected through invasive procedures, where the obtained tissue is processed to isolate the vascular stroma or stem cells. Mesenchymal cells can be cultured and expanded in certified biobanks, for later use in the same patient. Although they constitute a valuable therapeutic option in regenerative medicine, they present certain drawbacks: the extraction procedure is invasive, in some cases requires an operating room, and the bioavailability of the cells can be affected by the patient’s age or health conditions.
